Marble Wall Sheets or Marble Acoustic Panels? How to Choose

Two products in our shop are called Gold and Black Marble, and both measure 240 × 60 cm. For a broad expanse of veining behind a sideboard, choose the marble-effect wall sheet. For a band of vertical lines beside it, choose the marble-finish acoustic panel. The other difference to check before ordering is the unit on the price tag. You buy the sheet finish by the pack and the slatted finish by the panel.

Which surface do you want to see?

If someone else is ordering for you, circle the surface you want in the picture and send the product link with it. In the first image, “the panels beside the light” could describe either the pale strips outside the border or the dark sheet inside it.

What does a quantity of one buy?

Gold and Black wall sheet — £125 per pack. The listing gives the dimensions of a sheet but does not say how many sheets the pack contains. Ask for the piece count before converting a fitter’s sheet list into basket quantities.
Gold and Black acoustic wall panel — £40 each. A quantity of two on this listing means two slatted panels. The price difference alone cannot tell you which finish costs less for your wall.

If acoustics are important to your choice, ask for performance information for the exact slatted panel and the way it will be fitted. The stripes in a catalogue picture tell you how the face looks. They cannot tell you how much echo it will absorb in your room.

A worked example for a wall with both finishes

Imagine your fitter’s drawing calls for two individual marble-effect sheets in the middle and one full slatted panel at each end. This is an example order, with the required pieces already counted by the fitter.

Slatted ends. Order two of the £40 acoustic panels. That part of the materials bill is £80.
Sheet centre. Ask how many complete sheets come in the £125 pack. If the supplier confirms that one pack provides both required sheets, your materials subtotal would be £205. If two packs are needed, it would be £330. Neither figure includes delivery, fitting or finishing pieces.

The useful question for the shop is “How many packs supply these two sheets?” Entering two of each product without that answer could add an unnecessary £125 pack to the basket.

What to send before you order

Send one line per finish, even if both are gold and black. For the example above, you could send these two lines.

Centre section — Gold and Black marble-effect wall sheet. My fitter needs two individual sheets. Please confirm the pack contents, number of packs and price for this line.
Left and right ends — Gold and Black marble acoustic wall panel. Two individual slatted panels. Please confirm the two product lines and delivery charge together.
